Welcome to King’s Lynn Town Hall
Originally home to the Trinity Guild, King’s Lynn Town Hall has been at the centre of life in the town for over eight centuries and it is still at the heart of civic life, with the Borough Mayor being based here.
The archive includes internationally significant documents and provides an insight into the rich history of our vibrant town.
From the Grade I Listed medieval Stone Hall, with its impressive stone floor and oak beamed ceiling to the ornate Georgian Assembly Room, the complex offers a range of beautiful rooms which are available for hire for weddings, special gatherings and business functions.
It is a particularly exciting time for us, as with the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, we are about to embark on a major enhancement project – the Stories of Lynn - which will bring our fascinating history to life. For more information please see the Stories of Lynn page of this website. Please note that the Old Gaol House and Regalia Rooms are closed to enable the construction of Stories of Lynn.
